Consultation Fee R950/hour
The initial meeting and discussions are a minimun of 1 hour for the first visit. Design and plans will be quoted separately and will be charged on an hourly basis including travelling time, according to the work required (see example below).
Concept and Design Fees and Council Plans
The process of renovating a house starts with meetings and interviews with clients to ascertain their needs followed by numerous iterations as the concepts grow from preliminary ideas in hand-drawn sketches through to formal drawings, submissions to council, and approval.
Cost Structure Examples
Extensive renovation designs of existing house / apartment – R85 000 to
R190 000
Small renovation designs of existing house / apartment R45 000 to R75 000
All council fees are for the client’s cost and are determined by the council.
